Behind the Scenes: Interviews at the Dunsmuir-Hellman House

The interviews for American Jerusalem were all conducted at the magnificent Dunsmuir-Hellman House in Oakland. The House was built in 1899, and in 1906 was purchased by Isaias Hellman Jr. The House has been designated a National Historic Site by the United States Department of the Interior.
